If you're interested in a class or individual instruction for a child or young adult, please contact me. I've been teaching art in the Bay Area for over 30 years. My after-school "Drawing & Cartooning" class has been offered at Head Royce, Redwood Day, and Tehiyah Day schools, among others. I offer on-site programs as well as small classes and one-on-one mentoring in the studio, where students of all ages have access to a wide variety of materials. Studio classes run year-round, including a small summer program.
DRAWING & MIXED MEDIA:
Here we collaborate on how to choose a subject, how to observe and research, and how to find a voice in different media.
CARTOONING:
This genre includes multiple art forms--drawing, writing, humor, drama, design--which makes it both challenging and fun for people with a variety of skill sets. Tools and reference materials are provided, based on student interests.
